1 Corinthians 1:17-2:5 The Foolishness of the Cross

1 Corinthians 1:17-2:5 The Foolishness of the Cross

In the continuing series on First Corinthians, this weeks sermon, “The Foolishness of the Cross,” examines I Corinthians 1:17-31. The people of Corinth, like many of us, were only partially converted. Their minds were not aligned to the meaning and power of the cross. Some instead blend their Christian thinking with the surrounding culture. In doing so they want to do away with the scandal of the cross. Cross current living means that we can never remove the offense of the cross, for it is the power of deliverance, forgiveness, reconciliation, and freedom. Listen to this sermon to determine whether you too are only partially converted.
