I Corinthians 5 The Grace of Church Discipline

We live in a pluralistic society where making judgments of others is viewed with almost universal disgust. One of the ways Christians live against the culture is how seriously they take sin in themselves and in the church. In our ongoing series, “Cross Current,” Pastor Leonard preaches from 1 Corinthians 5 on the controversial topic of excommunication. He aims here to show how love demands this level of concern for sin in the midst of Christians. Few will leave this sermon not wanting to be a part of a community that takes love and our best interest to heart. This difficult topic only serves to make the reality of grace shine brighter.
