I Corinthians 3 Growing Up and Growing Together

I Corinthians 3 Growing Up and Growing Together

It is widely acknowledged that the Corinthian church was filled with problems from the very common to the outrageously scandalous. With this in view, it is interesting to note the foundational problem Paul chooses to address: division. Nothing undermines the witness of the church like division and ensuing cliques. In this continuing sermon in the series, “Cross Currents,” Pastor Leonard examines three sources of division from I Corinthians 3: childish attitudes, failure to understand the character of leaderships, and a failure to realize who we already are in Christ. Cliques are not to be the way of the church. Here we live from and in a different reality.
